2nd graders learned about Pablo Picasso and the movement he helped to create, cubism. Every second grader can now tell you that cubism is an art movement that consisted of showing multiple viewpoints of a 3D image on a single flat surface (2D). We created colorful Picasso-style cubist portraits based on the website www.picassohead.com with black crayon and watercolors (crayon resist).
